Terms of use

The short version: this is a thinking tool, your words stay yours, credits pay for readings, and a reading can be wrong. Using the app agrees to what follows.

What this is, and what it is not

You write down a situation you are already in. The app gives back several readings of it, each tied to lines you typed, and you decide which are true and which to keep.

It is not therapy, medicine, or psychological assessment, and a reading is not a finding about you. The compass bars describe what your entries cover; they are not a score of you. If what you are writing about involves danger to yourself or anyone else, this is not the place that helps — that is emergency services or a local crisis line, now rather than after a reading.

Your account

• One person per account. A sign-in code sent to your address is access to your archive, so do not use an inbox other people can read.
• You can start as a guest and add an email later; the entries you already wrote move to the real account rather than starting over.
• Close it whenever you like — the privacy page describes what happens to the data.

What a credit buys

A reading costs 3 credits from start to finish: it goes over what you wrote and hands the result back to you. The deeper reading costs 10 credits, because it also sets your words against the entries you have already kept. What a reading used is measured from that reading and written into your credit activity. Where nothing went ahead, nothing is charged, and your history says so.

Where a reading did not happen, its credits come back on their own — you never have to ask:

• A reading that never completed is never charged. Its credits come back the moment it stops.
• A deep reading that finds nothing in your archive to compare against gets the difference back — 7 credits — as a named line in your history, because the part of the price that pays for that comparison did not happen.

Plans, prices and packs

• Free — 45 credits a month, no charge.
• Noetic membership — 500 credits a month, $25 a month or $228 a year.
• Pro membership — 1500 credits a month, $45 a month or $398 a year, and deep readings.
• Credit packs, whenever you need more: 100 for $8, 300 for $20, 1000 for $60.
• The first weeks on the free plan come with 120 credits over 7 days, so you can judge whether this helps on more than one entry, not just the first.

Prices are in US dollars and shown before tax; where tax applies, our merchant of record adds it at checkout and handles the paperwork. A price can change — a change reaches renewals after notice, never the period you have already paid for. The monthly credit allowance refills with the cycle; credits you bought outright do not expire.

Subscriptions

• You are charged when you join and again on each renewal date until you cancel.
• Cancelling keeps everything until the end of the period you paid for, then stops; nothing is cut short mid-cycle.
• If a renewal fails, you have 3 days to put a working card back before the plan changes.
• A move to a cheaper plan can wait until the end of the period you paid for, so you get what you paid for.

Refunds

Covered properly on their own page — Refund policy. The short of it: a credit pack is refundable by yourself within 14 days, and a reading that did not happen is never charged in the first place.

Using it fairly

• Write about your own situations. If your entry involves other people, describe them in a way that does not identify them — this is not a place to build a file on someone, and we cannot referee a dispute about somebody else's private life.
• Nothing unlawful, nothing that puts the service or another person at risk.
• No reverse-engineering, no overloading it, no scraping other people's data, no reselling readings as professional advice to a third party.
• An account that breaks these can be suspended, and we will tell you which rule it broke.

Your words stay yours

You keep everything you write and everything made from it. You give Noetic Leap the licence it needs to run the service — to store it, process it, show it back to you, and hand it to you in an export — and that licence ends when you delete what you wrote. Processing means the two jobs named on the privacy page with the addresses they answer at: one service drafts the readings from your words, another turns them into numbers so a new entry can be matched against your archive. We do not publish entries and we do not show them to anyone else. The only time we look at one is when you ask us about a specific reading. The app itself, its design and its name stay ours.

Availability

The service runs as it is, without an uptime promise. A reading does have a ceiling and it is deliberate: about 270 seconds for a standard reading and 600 for a deep one, across any retries. Past that we stop, give you either the shorter honest answer or your credits back, and say so — rather than leaving you watching a spinner with no end in sight. Expect occasional maintenance. We will not quietly take back what you have already paid for.

No warranty, and where the decision sits

A reading is a proposal built from your own words, and it can be wrong. Nothing here is a diagnosis or professional advice, and what you do with a reading is your call. That is not a disclaimer stapled onto the bottom — it is the design: nothing enters your archive until you confirm it.

Liability

If something goes wrong, Noetic Leap's responsibility to you is capped at what you have paid in the three months before the problem, and we are not liable for lost profits or for data you never exported. None of this touches rights you cannot contract out of.

Ending it

Either side can end this: you by closing the account, we by giving notice. If we end it while you have paid for something unused, the unused part comes back. Breaks of the fair-use rules above can be stopped immediately.

The law, and changes to these terms

Write to us and we will tell you where the business behind this is registered and which law its terms sit under — we would rather answer that than bury it.

A material change is shown in the app and by email at least 14 days before it takes effect; carrying on after that is agreement to it. Questions, and anything you want to dispute, go to Noetic Leap at the address below — a real person reads it.
